Okay, yes, that’s an alarmist heading. Clickbait one might even say. After reading this article on advancements in CSS color schemes I’m left considering how to shift my designs to dark mode.

Even in Apple’s well-designed dark mode I often times struggle to read text and to find my focus on the screen. How might we use “dark mode” design to make a less energy-hungry web?
